This weekend a 10,000 capacity Download Pilot is set to take place featuring headliners Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes, Enter Shikari, Bullet For My Valentine plus many more acts across the three-day test festival. Sheffield's biggest party, Tramlines Festival is set to make a triumphant return to Hillsborough Park come 23rd - 25th July. Featuring headliners, The Streets, Royal Blood, Richard Ashcroft plus a whole host of 46 already confirmed music acts across the festivals three-day line-up, plus many more names in music, art and comedy to be announced. We take a deep dive into some of the most anticipated, hyped and talked about artists, spanning a spectrum of genres from indie, metal, rock and more ahead of the long-awaited Tramlines Festival 2021.

Alt-rock five-piece Chapter and Verse have made a stellar return with their brand new single 'Something in the Water'. Recorded almost entirely from their bedrooms, the track sees the band push boundaries as they explore new avenues, continuing to prove they're a force to be reckoned with. Earlier this year, Australian alt-rock trio RedHook released their stomping debut EP 'Bad Decisions', six emotionally-fuelled tracks that set the band as ones to watch. French-Irish quartet Molybaron returned with their sophomore album 'The Mutiny' last month, delivering ten tracks of captivating alt-metal that blends influences of Alter Bridge, Mastodon and Therapy?. We caught up with vocalist/guitarist Gareth Kelly to discuss the album's opener 'Animals', from the writing process and themes to stories from behind the scenes. 

Southampton based metalcore band Our Hollow, Our Home are hotly tipped as one of the most rapidly growing bands in the UK metal music scene right now. Their third full-length release 'Burn In The Flood' is set to drop on May 28th via the band's own label //Hollow Music. The band aim to document their personal growth as a band, as well as openly speak out about the genuine struggles faced throughout daily life on this blistering new album. We spoke to vocalist Connor Hallisey and singer/guitarist Tobias Young all about the album, the band's decision to self-release and the importance of artists to fan engagement in times like these. 

Finnish quartet Throat return with their third full-length 'Smile Less', due for release later this week via Svart Records. Recorded at Tonehaven Recording Studio with Tom Brooke, mixed by Andrew Schneider (Unsane, Cult of Luna, Cave In) and mastered by Carl Saff (Big Business, KEN Mode, Young Widows), the new album pushes boundaries within noise rock to showcase Throat's darker side. We caught up with guitarist/vocalist Jukka Mattila ahead of the release to discuss the band's formation, influences, ambitions and more. 

Danish metalcore quartet Ghost Iris are back with fourth album 'Comatose', their most visceral material to date. Bewitcher are back with their third studio album 'Cursed Be Thy Kingdom', cooking up a storm with their raucous blend of heavy metal and rock 'n' roll.
