While it’s certainly got some tracks which pale in comparison to others, 'Dance Devil Dance' is quite a solid record, with more than a handful of memorable moments to hold fans over until they can see Avatar in concert, or until they put out another album - whichever comes first.

Paramore are one of the defining 21st century rock bands. Hailing out of Tennessee, and forming as teenagers, the band have become something bigger than perhaps the trio could ever possibly imagine. After a 6 year hiatus, 'This Is Why' shows Paramore at their most captivating yet. 

The chances are if you are a fan of death metal in any of its many guises then you have at least heard of Obituary. The Floridan quintet have been sitting upon the precipice of the genre since their inception back in the early 1980s and have been firing on all cylinders since their reformation back in 2003. In the height of the pandemic, brothers John and Donald Tardy would lock themselves away, rejuvenating their beloved Redneck Studios and putting together the foundations that would then form their eleventh album 'Dying of Everything'.

They are the eternal divisive rock band like marmite for your ears. Some people love them and others, well, seem to have a quite unrivalled and insatiable hatred. We're very firmly in the former camp and don’t get the Nickelback hatred. The Canadian rockers are back with their tenth slice of ass bootin’, head flingin’, and foot stompin’ rock n’ roll, and 'Get Rollin' is another nail in the coffin for their detractors.

Bonecarver exploded onto the scene with the savage debut release 'Evil' back in 2021, and have since made a name for themselves with their own dark take on the brutal death metal/deathcore genre. Now, with their second album 'Carnage Funeral' locked and loaded, the band are looking to take the next creative step in their career and make the world take real notice.

Recorded at the same time as 'Fix Yourself, Not The World', The Wombats' new EP, 'Is This What it Feels Like to Feel This?' has great potential to match the success from earlier this year. The 2007 British indie genre may be long gone, but The Wombats are still going strong.

There aren't many records we can sit here and listen to on repeat. Yet, here we are, lying on our bedroom floor only moving when it's time to flip to Side-B and repeat. What album has us putting life on hold? Palaye Royale's fourth studio album, 'Fever Dream', that’s what.

For us, 'Death by Rock and Roll' was one of 2021’s top albums. Easily top ten for several of us at Bring The Noise UK and 18-months later it is still on heavy rotation on our turntable and in our headphones. So when The Pretty Reckless dropped a brand new mini-album packed with covers, acoustic versions and remixes of some of our favourite songs on 'Death by Rock and Roll', we were already sold. 

Exploring our own lives can sometimes be uncomfortable, yet Pryti’s newest album 'Searching for Now Lost in Again' is taking on life as she expresses self-discovery, toxic relationships and a growing mindset. This album may be the self-reflection we all need.
