ALBUM REVIEW: VENUES – Transience

VENUES may not be a band that are instantly recognisable in the metal scene, but they soon will be if their third studio album 'Transience' is anything to go by. Released via Arising Empire, the German four-piece have produced an album with astonishing diversity that pulls you in from the word go and keeps you gripped right to the end.

ALBUM REVIEW: GHØSTKID – HOLLYWOOD SUICIDE

Formerly a member of Eskimo Callboy (now Electric Callboy), German metal master Sebastian “Sushi” Biesler wanted to create a project of his own, which he did to great critical acclaim, when he released the album 'GHØSTKID' in 2020 during the Covid-19 pandemic. Now, he's back with his second offering 'HOLLYWOOD SUICIDE', an eleven-track album which takes you on a journey through pain and despair.
