VENUES may not be a band that are instantly recognisable in the metal scene, but they soon will be if their third studio album 'Transience' is anything to go by. Released via Arising Empire, the German four-piece have produced an album with astonishing diversity that pulls you in from the word go and keeps you gripped right to the end.

Formerly a member of Eskimo Callboy (now Electric Callboy), German metal master Sebastian “Sushi” Biesler wanted to create a project of his own, which he did to great critical acclaim, when he released the album 'GHØSTKID' in 2020 during the Covid-19 pandemic. Now, he's back with his second offering 'HOLLYWOOD SUICIDE', an eleven-track album which takes you on a journey through pain and despair.

Kid Kapichi released their third studio album 'There Goes The Neighbourhood' earlier this month via Spinefarm and, on the first listen, it's almost like a continuation from the band's second album, 'Here’s What You Could Have Won', once again examining the state of the country and wider world.

With 'SELF HELL', their sixth album, While She Sleeps better get planning for the arenas.
